Dashboard and alerts

The one screen that says whether outbound is healthy today.

Where this lives. Sign in and open /command-center in the app.

What it does

Command Center is emailcampaign.ai's home screen (the signed-in app's own sidebar names the product Campaign Cloud; the left navigation calls this page "Command Center," but it greets you by first name instead of showing that as a heading), with a one-line summary of active campaigns, emails sent in the last 24 hours, and open positive replies. Quick-action buttons sit next to the greeting: New campaign, Connect account, Import leads, Deliverability check, and Prepare infrastructure. If your workspace has an unfinished setup step, a colored warning banner appears above everything else, and a Get started checklist with a progress bar stays visible until every onboarding step is done.

Below that is the KPI grid: four larger "hero" tiles (Sent 24h, Replies 24h, Positive replies, Approvals waiting) followed by twelve smaller ones — Deliverability, Accounts, Campaigns, Leads, Bounces 24h, Refused 24h, Meetings booked, Calls due, Contracts pending, Revenue forecast, Reply rate, and Automations blocked. Bounces and Refused are deliberately separate: bounces are about your list, refused is a receiver blocking your sender, and folding them together used to make a healthy count look alarming. Every tile links to the page it summarizes.

The panels beneath the grid are: the Approvals queue (see Automations and approvals) with its own Recent decisions list; Positive replies, warm conversations waiting on you; Accounts needing attention, mailboxes with a connection, warmup, or sending problem; Autopilot recommendations, suggestions "derived from live workspace state — never executed without you"; Pilot tasks, manual steps a workflow is waiting on a human for; Infrastructure & deliverability, a compact readout of domains, mailboxes, and warmup status plus any blocked automation runs; and Recent activity, a short audited timeline of who did what, linking to the full audit log.

Separately from this page, a notification bell in the top bar (present everywhere in the app, not just here) opens a dropdown of individual notifications with a red unread count, a Mark all read link, and a "You're all caught up" message when there's nothing pending. Clicking a notification marks it read and takes you to whatever it's about.

Before you start

  • The dashboard mixes data gated by different permissions — for example the Approvals queue only lets you decide something if your role has "approve automation," even though everyone who can view the dashboard sees the queue itself.
  • The banner and onboarding checklist disappear once their underlying condition is resolved; there's no way to dismiss them manually while the condition remains.

Set it up, step by step

  1. Open Command Center from the left navigation — it's the page you land on after signing in.
  2. If a Get started checklist appears, click its next highlighted step, or Open the setup guide for the full sequence.
  3. Read any warning banner and click it to go straight to what it's about.
  4. Scan the KPI grid for anything red or amber, and click that tile to investigate.
  5. Work through Approvals queue, Positive replies, and Accounts needing attention in whatever order matches your role.
  6. Click the bell icon any time to check individual notifications, and Mark all read once you've seen them.

What you should see

A brand-new workspace shows zeros across the KPI grid, empty-state messages in each panel ("No positive replies yet," "All accounts healthy," "No open tasks"), and the Get started checklist front and center. An established workspace shows the checklist gone entirely once every step is complete. Tiles with a problem turn amber or red (for example Bounces 24h past a threshold, or any Automations blocked); tiles with nothing wrong stay neutral or green.

Common problems

  • A KPI tile looks wrong compared to the page it links to. Some tiles (like Revenue forecast) show a rounded, abbreviated figure — open the linked page for the exact number.
  • You can see an approval in the queue but Approve does nothing. You can view the dashboard without being able to decide approvals; that needs "approve automation" specifically.
  • The Get started banner won't go away. It only disappears once every onboarding step is actually done — open the setup guide to see which one is outstanding.

Common questions

What should I check every morning?

Three things: whether any mailbox paused itself, whether bounces or provider refusals moved overnight, and whether anything is waiting on your approval. Reply counts can wait; those three cannot.
