What it does
Resources (/resources), part of emailcampaign.ai — the signed-in app's own sidebar names it Campaign Cloud — is described in the app as "Shared sales collateral: case studies, one-pagers, and checklists with usage tracking." Each row is a piece of collateral with a title, a text preview, tags, an Approved yes/no flag, a Used count, and when it was last updated. You can search by title or preview text, and click a row to open its full preview in a drawer.
Resources is one of three views onto the same underlying library content, split by category: this page shows items of the "resource" kind, Clauses shows contract language, and Knowledge shows playbooks and ICP notes. All three work the same way and share the same limitation: there is no button anywhere in the app to add, edit, or approve an entry. Someone outside the product has to load the collateral in; this page is for finding and checking it, not authoring it.
The Used column is the point of the page — the app's own empty-state message puts it plainly: "usage counts show what actually moves deals." The idea is that once your team's case studies, one-pagers, and checklists are in the library, you can see which ones actually get reached for, not just which ones exist. [VERIFY: what specifically increments the Used count — for example whether it counts a resource being attached to an email, shared in a reply, or something else]
Before you start
- Viewing this page only needs the baseline "view dashboard" permission — the same one that gates every module list in the app.
- There is no upload or "New resource" control on this page. An empty library stays empty until someone adds content from outside the app.
- The Approved flag is shown for every resource, but this page does not reveal what, if anything, changes based on whether it is checked.
Set it up, step by step
- Go to Resources in the left navigation (/resources).
- Use the search box to find a resource by title or by words in its preview text.
- Click a row to open its full preview, tags, approval state, and usage count.
- Sort your sense of what's worth promoting by the Used column — the higher it is, the more this piece of collateral has actually been reached for.
- If your library is empty or missing something your team needs, arrange for it to be added outside the app — there is nothing here to do that yourself.
What you should see
Rows show a Tags list as small chips and an Approved column reading yes or no. A brand-new workspace shows "No resources yet" with the same explanation about usage counts. Nothing on this page can produce a permissions error in normal use, since there is no write action available to fail.
Common problems
- You expected an "Add resource" or upload button and there isn't one. That's correct for the current build — Resources, Clauses, and Knowledge are all view-only from the app itself.
- The Used count never seems to move. This page can't confirm what triggers it; treat a static count as expected until you can check with whoever manages this library for your workspace.
- Search finds nothing you expect. Search only matches the title and the preview text shown in the list, not necessarily a resource's full content.

What belongs here rather than in the knowledge base?
The knowledge base is what the AI reads. Resources are what people reuse. If a human copies it, it belongs here.
